Description: Papers relating to Barbara Tribe, sculptor. They comprise albums and scrapbooks of photographs and images of works and of the artist at work. Most images include a caption or description indicating title and date of the work. Some also include a description of the material used and the height of particular items.The archive also includes some CVs. Tribe was in regular contact with the Commonwealth Arts Advisory Board during the 1960s and 70s and then the National Gallery of Australia during the 80s and 90s, offering her sculptures and drawings to the gallery and corresponding regularly with the Gallery’s curators. Seven sculptures and twenty-six of Tribe's drawings are held in the Gallery’s art collection.
